Our team from Fishbowl Solutions spent three immersive days at the Venetian Conference & Expo Center in Las Vegas, surrounded by thousands of Oracle customers, partners and innovators. The energy was electric — a mix of anticipation, curiosity, and the unmistakable hum of “AI everywhere.”
From generative-AI assistants embedded in Fusion Apps to AI-powered database automation and multi-cloud AI services, Oracle made one thing abundantly clear: the future of business software is intelligent, contextual, and deeply integrated into how we work.
Themes That Defined Oracle AI World 2025
Over a packed agenda, five major themes dominated the sessions and conversations across the event floor:

A unified strategy bringing AI across every layer of Oracle’s ecosystem — from data to apps to infrastructure. The narrative was consistent: AI isn’t a bolt-on, it’s the very architecture of the stack.
2. Database Intelligence
Oracle introduced breakthrough capabilities like the Oracle Autonomous AI Lakehouse and its new AI Data Platform, which fuse data-lake and data-warehouse architectures, embed AI agents and vector-search capabilities, and aim to bring AI to the data (rather than moving the data to the model).

AI solutions for precision medicine, automated patient-insights, industry-specific workflows and other cross-industry use cases underscored Oracle’s ambition beyond general IT: this is enterprise AI at scale.

The debut of new tools like Oracle AI Agent Studio and enhancements to Fusion Cloud Applications were front and center, enabling customers to train, deploy and embed AI models directly within business-critical application workflows.
Each of these areas reinforced a single message: Oracle is not adding AI — it’s architecting for it.

Perhaps the most compelling announcement came from Oracle’s application layer: role-based AI agents embedded in Fusion Cloud Applications for Sales, Marketing, Service and beyond. These agents are designed to automate processes, personalize engagement and surface insights directly within daily workflows — turning traditional enterprise systems into intelligent collaborators.

Showcasing Innovation at Oracle AI World: The OIC Agent in Action
During the Oracle Customer Success Summit at AI World 2025, the Fishbowl Solutions team had the opportunity to take the stage and present one of our most exciting real-world implementations: the OIC AI Invoice Agent, powered by Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) and Model Context Protocol (MCP). This live demo showcased how AI-native integrations can transform routine business workflows — automating invoice ingestion, data extraction, and approvals through conversational commands and governed integrations. Rather than relying on custom middleware or brittle scripts, the OIC Agent uses MCP to securely connect Oracle Fusion, WebCenter, and external content repositories through a single, standardized integration layer.
Our session demonstrated that AI doesn’t just augment integration — it redefines it. By enabling OIC to act as an intelligent orchestrator, Fishbowl’s Agent Platform turns LLMs like ChatGPT or Claude into true enterprise participants.
