Senior Windchill PLM Solution Architect

We’re looking for an experienced and driven Senior Windchill PLM Solution Architect to join our team and support our customers’ success.
As a Senior Windchill PLM Solution Architect, typical day may include the following:
- PTC Windchill System Implementation & Administration: Lead and execute Windchill installations, configurations, upgrades, and customizations to ensure optimal system performance and functionality.
- Customer Requirements & Solution Development: Work closely with clients to identify and analyze requirements, conduct product evaluations, and recommend tailored solutions.
- System Integration & Cloud Transformation: Support integration efforts for cloud environments and transform on-premises PTC Windchill deployments into cloud-based systems.
- Project Management & Leadership: Manage project scope, timelines, resources, and deliverables. Coordinate cross-project work and ensure the successful completion of multiple projects simultaneously.
- Engineering Systems Support & Maintenance: Provide ongoing support for Windchill, Creo, and related engineering systems, including troubleshooting, upgrades, and system health monitoring.
- Data Migration & Integrations: Execute data migrations and integrations between Windchill and other enterprise systems, ensuring data integrity and seamless workflows.
- Customization & Tailoring: Adapt Windchill modules and workflows to meet the evolving needs of business environments.
- Collaboration & Stakeholder Management: Work closely with Fishbowl’s sales team to support pre-sales activities, customer presentations, and proposal development.
- Support: Deliver customer support through troubleshooting and resolve issues that arise between IT, engineering teams, and end users.
- Innovation & Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and identify opportunities to leverage Fishbowl applications and tools to improve client processes.

Skills & Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
- Experience:
- 10+ years (or equivalent) of experience working with PTC products, including Windchill.
- 4+ years (or equivalent) of hands-on experience with PTC Windchill implementation, upgrades, and support.
- Experience working in a consulting environment and interacting directly with customers.
- Technology Skills:
- Experience with web server technologies (Apache Web Server, Tomcat) and application servers.
- Knowledge of database technologies (Oracle/MSSQL), Unix/Windows operating systems.
- Familiarity with 3D CAD software, BOM management, and Engineering Change Management processes.
- Proficiency in C, C++, Java, C# programming languages. (Nice to have)
- Project Management: Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities, able to identify and resolve issues promptly.
- Client-Focused: Uncompromising focus on client satisfaction and a willingness to work extra hours (evenings/weekends) as required.
