Fishbowl Solutions strives to excel beyond customer expectations. To do so, we challenge our employees to continuously learn new technology and skills. As one of our company values, Continuous Learning ensures our customers receive the best information and guidance from our teams. This month, Fishbowl’s Support Engineers, Courtney Wolfe and John Lundgren took and passed the Oracle Cloud Support Specialist exam.
This exam includes 60 questions and candidates must score 80% or higher in order to pass. I checked in with both Courtney and John after they completed their certification to learn more about the process and what they learned.
Courtney Wolfe, Fishbowl Solutions’ Associate Support Engineer
“Oracle is making strides to have cloud-specific support resources easily available to those [of us] in the Oracle support community,” said Courtney. Taking notes and paying attention to the key concepts and details were important to passing, but overall the exam wasn’t “too bad”. Courtney now feels “able to streamline the process of finding pertinent information,” and knows “how to resolve SR’s with Oracle in an effective manner.” For someone relatively new to the Oracle landscape, Fishbowl is thrilled that Courtney is ready to tackle whatever support request comes next.
John Lundgren, Fishbowl Solutions’ Enterprise Support Engineer
“Having worked with Oracle’s support portal already for about 15 years, I was familiar with most of the material already. However, I did learn some new tricks to make working in the portal a bit easier,” said John. Included in those new tricks was learning where certain properties for Oracle’s portal are located, how the cloud support portal differs from the standard support portal, and more. “This is a great course for anyone who works with Oracle or Oracle’s cloud support on a semi-regular basis,” John said. “It covered how to work with the support portal more effectively.”
The Fishbowl team is ready to provide you the cloud support you may need on your next or currently ongoing project. For more information, please see our Oracle Cloud Consulting Services page, or reach out to us at [email protected].
